Featured will be a Pollinator/Native plant sale from Shoreview Natives in Two Harbors, free resources on pollinator plants and gardening for Monarch butterflies, native pollinator garden tour, and DMB merchandise for sale. DMB members will be on hand to answer questions, assist with plant purchases, and provide direction on developing and increasing monarch and butterfly habitat in their yards and neighborhoods.

Local partner organizations will host informational booths, including the Arrowhead Chapter – Wild Ones and Boulder Lake Environmental Learning Center.Duluth Monarch Buddies is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization formed in 2015. Their mission is to educate children and adults about the plight of monarchs due to habitat loss and increase habitat by planting milkweed and native pollinator plants.

DMB partners with local groups and the City of Duluth to increase pollinator habitat and Monarch populations. They have been involved in numerous native pollinator plant projects around Duluth including the I-35 Lakewalk demonstration garden (26th Avenue East/London Road), monarch habitat in Chambers Grove Park, and a pollinator/monarch Waystation (Thompson Hill rest area).
